The Hold Steady have been dropping teaser "b/w" singles over the past few years. So, naturally, I've been collecting them in a list and trying to sort them in a flow that makes sense. It's been a long time since "Teeth Dreams", but "Thrashing Thru The Passion" was worth the wait. (and Franz is back!)

I hadn't seen the track order for the release prior to making my own. Perhaps, I'm more of a fan than I thought because some of the matches are pretty spot on. Perhaps, it's all luck. And perhaps, you don't give a flippin' shit. Either way, if you've ever had to do it, then you know sorting tracks for an LP can sometimes be the hardest part of releasing a record.

Here's my best guess at the tracks leading up to the release of "Thrashing Thru The Passion".
